Fehreddin Koja: Azerbaijani servicemen treated in Turkey have no serious health problems

"Currently, three Azerbaijani veterans are undergoing treatment in Turkey, they do not have serious health problems," Turkish Health Minister Fehreddin Koja said while answering journalists' questions at a press conference following the regular discussions on the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Scientific Council under the Ministry, APA's local bureau reports.

The minister noted that in accordance with the agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of healthcare, 4 more patients are being treated: “We never separate our Azerbaijani brothers from Turkish citizens. Whatever care and service are rendered to our citizens, the same happens to our Azeri brothers. Regardless of the tasks assigned to us, we are very sensitive to this issue”.

F. Koja added that during the period of the pandemic and the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, Turkey also provided medical assistance to Azerbaijan.
