President: "I said during the war, our work would be incomplete without Shusha"

"The special forces were at the forefront in all our decisive operations," said President of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev as he addressed the personnel of the Special Forces military unit, APA reports.

"After successful operations, our way was opened to Shusha. In fact, that way did not exist. After the successful Hadrut operation, which drastically increased the number of fugitives in Armenia, they did not believe that we would go in that direction. They were waiting for us from other places. I said during the war that our work would be incomplete without Shusha. From the first day to the last day of the war, our goal was to liberate Shusha, our beloved city, our crown, from the Armenian occupation, and we achieved this, you achieved it, the special forces achieved it.
