Azerbaijani MFA comments on Armenian provocation during  Dudelange-Qarabagh match held in Luxembourg

"The Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan monitors the situation with regard to provocation during Dudelange - Qarabagh match in Luxembourg," Spokesperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva twitted, APA reports.

L. Abdullayeva noted that ambassador accredited to is instructed to contact MFA and make sure that those responsible for provocation are found and subjected to relevant responsibility.

Note the unpleasant incident took place after the second goal of the Aghdam team. The so-called flag of the separatist regime of Nagorno Garabagh was brought to the center of the stadium. Then there was a conflict between fans and players. Seeing this, Scottish referee John Biton stopped the match.

Luxembourg's sports minister visited the locker room of the Aghdam representative after the suspension of the match "Dudelange" (Luxembourg) - "Qarabagh" (Luxembourg) within the second round of the group stage of the Europa League. He apologized to the members of the Qarabagh team for the provocative action. He said his country considers Nagorno Garabagh an integral part of Azerbaijan. He also said that the provocateur would be found and punished.
