“Although appeals of the body, so-called itself “National Council of Democratic Forces” on holding a rally at 3:00 p.m on October 19 was relevantly responded by Baku City Executive Power, rally organizers post on social media on holding an illegal meeting in a place unauthorized with the law – in front of 28 May metro station on that time. Baku Metro JSC states that in the case of illegal actions violating transportation movement, organizers will hold all respondibilities”, Baku Metro JSC told APA.

It’s been noted that it was decided to suspend the temporary operation of May 28, Jafar Jabbarli and Khatai stations of Baku Metro to avoid paralyzing the activities of strategically important and mass transport infrastructure, as well as to protect the rights of citizens using these vehicles from 13:00 on October 19.

Note that, the relevant law-enforcement agencies will be appealed to take tough measures considered in the legislation on people, who call for illegal protests in the protected areas of the metro, or the organizers of such rallies contrary to the law.
