36 people suffered from mines and unexploded ordnance in Azerbaijan in 3 months of this year

In March of 2021, it has been registered that 8 people have been injured by anti-personnel mines as a result of 3 incidents, Azerbaijan Mine Action Public Union told APA.

As a result, two civilians were killed and six were injured, including a child. In March 2021, mine incidents took place in Agdam and Khojavend districts.

In total 36 people have been injured by the mines and unexploded ordnance in 3 months of 2021: “Azerbaijan Mine Action Public Union once again ask people not to visit liberated territories from the occupation, and not to touch the unexploded ordnance”.
