Activity of courts resumed in Azerbaijan

The decision has been adopted regarding resumption of activity of courts functioning on the administrative territory of Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Masalli, Mingechevir, Sumgait, Yevlakh cities and Absheron, Barda, Goranboy, Goygol, Khachmaz, Siyazan and Sheki regions where the special quarantine regime was toughened for the period from 06:00 a.m. on July 20, 2020 until 06:00 a.m. on August 5, 2020, the Supreme Court told APA.

The courts of these cities and districts are given some recommendations. It has been recommended to implement the activity of the courts in accordance with the necessary social behavior and sanitary and epidemiological rules determined by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Due to the termination of the reception of citizens, the reception is carried out only by phone or through the Internet connection.

It should be ensured that citizens would wear protective masks during the period of their stay in the court buildings and would comply with personal hygiene, medical prophylaxis rules, as well as social distancing requirement.

The regular disinfection works should be carried out in the administrative buildings of the courts, and the court staff should be provided with protective and hygienic means.
