Azerbaijan’s MIA appeals to people in connection with strict quarantine regime

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has appealed to people in connection with strict quarantine regime, the ministry told APA.

According to decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic, the toughened special quarantine regime will be applied on the territory of Baku, Ganja, Sumgait, Lankaran, Absheron, Salyan, Kurdamir, Yevlakh, Ismayilli cities and regions from 00:00 a.m. on June 14, 2020 until 06:00 a.m. on June 16, 2020:

“We express our deep gratitude to all our citizens, representatives of state agencies and non-governmental organizations who have always accepted with understanding and supported those restriction measures serving for prevention of spread of coronavirus infection, and who highly appreciate the activity of the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the military servicemen who implement control over compliance with the requirements prescribed in this area and we congratulate all of you on occasion of June 15 – National salvation day. At the same time we request you to strictly comply with self-isolation rules that will be applied just for two days in order not to cause damage to health of yourself, your relatives and other people.
