Azerbaijani MIA conducted special operation, more than 20 kg narcotic drugs and weapons taken - VIDEO

A complex operation has been carried out against those who illegally kept firearms and drugs on themselves and in their homes by employees of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the press service of the Ministry told APA.

More than 20 kg of narcotic drugs and weapons have been found and taken from Shahmar Ahmadov, Polad Akbarov, Rashad Alasgarli, Akbar Naghiyev, Eldar Telegulov, Ramil Ismayilov, Elchin Khudiyev, Elman Muradov, Eldar Murshudov, Nijat Mammadov, and Khayyam Huseynov.

Criminal cases have been launched with relevant articles of the Criminal Code in the Investigation Department of the Main Office on each of the detained persons regarding these facts. Arrest warrants have been issued by Narimanov District Court on the persons, suspected of committing a crime.

In addition, the previously convicted Polad Akbarov was detained, from whom one Mauser was seized, Rashad Aleskerli, from whom the Makarov pistol was seized, the previously convicted Akper Nagiyev - drugs were found and seized from him, the TOZ hunting rifle and 8 rounds. Employees of the Main Directorate also detained Eldar Teregulov, from whom they confiscated a pistol "Margolin", 1904 cartridges, 2 pneumatic pistols, Ramil Ismailov, from whom 1 "Makarov", a silencer, 1 magazine, and 7 cartridges were seized.

One "revolver" was found and seized from the detained Eldar Murshudov.

On suspicion of drug trafficking, 2 more people were detained - Nijat Mammadov and Khayyam Huseynov, from whom 5 kg of heroin and methamphetamine were seized.
