Azerbaijani SBS: Enemy provocations in Gazakh and Aghstafa prevented

Provocations of the enemy side against combat points of military units of “Gazakh” Combined border division of Border Troops of the State Border Service, carrying out defense and protection of Gazakh and Aghstafa directions of Azerbaijan-Armenian state border, are underway, the SBS told APA.

On January 15, border combat points of Azerbaijan in Mazam village of Gazakh region and highway from center of Gazakh to Mazam village have intensively been fired by military units of Armenian Armed Forces located nearby Berkaber village of Ijevan district of the Republic of Armenia from starting 4:00 p.m by using large-caliber machine guns and sniper rifles.

Enemy’s provocation has been prevented, combat points of Armenian Armed Forces, firing Azerbaijan’s combat points, have been silenced by the retaliatory fire.
