An armed incident involving Azerbaijanis took place in Turkey, APA reports quoting local media.
The Incident took place in Basaksehir district of Istanbul.
Three people were killed and one was seriously injured in an armed clash between Azerbaijanis and Chechens.
One Azerbaijani was killed and another was injured in the incident.
Police have already launched an investigation and detained three suspects.
Note that the deceased Azerbaijani is said to be a professional athlete known in the criminal world as "Nakhchivanli Baba". The injured Azerbaijani is Fuad Hajiyev, known as "Fuad Sumgayitli".
Both are said to be close supporters of the late Rovshan Lankaransky.
It is noted that the incident occurred as a result of a criminal dispute.
