The global COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the world, with the largest portion of new cases and fatalities reported in the United States, while Italy still reports the highest number of deaths and patients in critical condition. Numerous countries have closed their borders and introduced curfews to fight the virus, APA reports citing Sputnik.

The coronavirus has infected at least 338,000 people across the world and killed 14,600 in recent months, while over 10,000 remain in critical condition. However, almost 100,000 of those infected have recovered from the disease.
