Complaints against the verdict on the former chairman of the Board of “International Bank of Azerbaijan” OJSC Jahangir Hajiyev, Ismayil Hidayetzade, and former MP Dunyamin Khalilov have been reviewed in the Baku Court of Appeal, APA reports.
The decision has been announced in the process, led by Judge Hasan Ahmadov.
According to the verdict, judgment of the first instance court has been changed.
Thus, Jahangir Hajiyev’s penal custody period of 16 years 6 months has been decreased by 3 months and his imprisonment period of 16 years 3 months has been kept. Sentences of others have not been changed.
