Criminal case launched against director of Salyan Hygiene and Epidemiology Center

During the pandemic, the complex measures of prosecutor's office are being continued in the direction of exposure of officials, who damaged to the effective state policy aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 virus, eliminating possible complications and protecting public health, with the corruption offenses, Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.

As one of these measures, based on the materials collected bout illegal acts of the director of Salyan District Hygiene and Epidemiology Center Intigam Abushov a criminal case has been launched under Articles 308.1 (abuse of power) and 311.3.2 (repeated bribery) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the General Office for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General.
