On February 5, 2021, the 112 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about an explosion that resulted in a fire in a metal smelting shop in the Binagadi district, Baku, APA reports citing MES.
Relevant forces of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service were immediately involved in the area. Thanks to the operative measures taken, the fire was extinguished in a short time and the workshop was protected from fire. As a result of the fire, combustible structures of the pumping station with a total area of 9 square meters, electric cable at 3 p.m., fuel oil residues in an area of 60 square meters and two 50-liter propane gas cylinders burned, the walls of the pumping station collapsed due the impact os explosion.
The relevant agencies are currently investigating the area.
