MIA: 1,959 transport vehicles, attempted to pass through quarantine posts without permission, sent back last day

Control-preventive checks by police workers and militaries of Internal Troops are continued in special posts, set in entries and exits of 5 cities and 12 regions, where strict quarantine regime is applied in order to prevent spread of coronavirus infection, press service of Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

1,959 transport vehicles, which attempted to pass through these posts without getting relevant permission, were sent back on December 25, 2020. At the same time, administrative sanction has been imposed on 2,219 people, who violated the quarantine regime rules in the country over the mentioned period.

All measures, conducted in this direction aim at provision of security of people and protection of their health. That is why, we ask citizens to understand applied isolation measures, not to leave their residential places without a necessity.
