Martyred Azerbaijani serviceman buried in Aghstafa region - UPDATED

A serviceman of Azerbaijani Army, Sergeant Sadigov Vugar Latif oglu, who was martyred as a result of an attempt by Armenian armed forces to use artillery to seize our positions in the direction of Tovuz on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, was buried in his native village of Yukari Goyjali, Ahgstafa region, APA's local bureau reports.
The leadership of the Executive Power of the region, servicemen, and the public of the region attended the funeral ceremony.
Farewell ceremony of the martyred serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army is being held, APA reports.
Body of soldier of the Azerbaijani Army Sadigov Vugar Latif, who was martyred as a result of attempt of Armenian armed forces using artillery fire to occupy our positions in Tovuz direction of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, has been taken to Yukhari Goyjali village of Aghstafa region, where he was born. Currently, the farewell ceremony of the martyr is held. The leadership of the District's Executive Power, military servicemen, and district population are participating in the ceremony.
Note that according to the information, released by the Ministry of Defense servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army, non-commissioned officer, sergeant Sadigov Vugar Latif and senior soldier Mammadov Elshad Donmez martyred in holding off an enemy attack.
Despite the efforts of our doctors, a seriously wounded serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army, soldier Dashdemirov Khayyam Mahammad also died.
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense expresses condolences to the families of the deceased servicemen and wishes them patience.
