Meeting of Pardon Issues Commission held - UPDATED

The first meeting of the new Pardon Commission under the President of Azerbaijan was held today, Commission member Rashad Majid told APA.

He said the meeting was very productive: "The meeting was chaired by the chairman of the commission, head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev. For the first time, the meeting was attended by Human Rights Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva. All members of the commission were represented at the meeting. Discussions were held. We will probably have several meetings. About 100 applications were considered today. The commission will work consistently and productively, summarizing the appeals before the Novruz holiday. "
