Successful operation has been carried out in the direction of detection of mines by the employees of Lachin District Police Department, Barda regional group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.
According to the information, Officers of the Lachin District Police Department have detected a large number of mines planted by the enemy in the Uchtapa area of Khojavend district in connection with their service activities.
The employees of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) have been immediately informed regarding this.
During inspection in the area, tanks of various names and 33 anti-personnel mines have been detected and appropriate measures were taken to ensure the safe explosion of these mines.
