Most court proceedings in Azerbaijan postponed until May 4

The Plenum of the Supreme Court has made the decision about the necessary measures that should be implemented in courts in order to prevent the risk of spreading of the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection countrywide, the court told APA.

All courts of Azerbaijan have been recommended to temporarily postpone until May 4, 2020 the consideration of all cases being under proceedings except for the cases that should be considered urgently, or the cases which don’t require implementation of judicial survey (choosing, extending, changing, abolishing of remand in custody measures, cases envisaging administrative arrest, taking of measures for securing of suit, fulfillment of order, simplified processing for cases related to small claims, special processing works for some category, etc.).
