Next prisoner swap takes place between Armenia, Azerbaijan

Another exchange of prisoners of war took place between Azerbaijan and Armenia, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.

Armenia handed over one prisoner of war to Baku, and Baku handed over five to Yerevan, said the commander of the Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov.

"Today ... another exchange of prisoners of war has been carried out. As a result of the work carried out by the Russian peacekeepers under my personal control, a Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft delivered to Baku one who was in captivity and five prisoners of war returned to Yerevan," Muradov told reporters.

He added that the Russian peacekeepers will continue to contribute to the rigorous implementation of the trilateral statement.
