During the first 3 months of this year, 16 people died in the fires occurred in Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the quarterly statistical data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The report says the number of investigated fires was 624 from the total fire accidents occurred during I quarter of 2020.
During the fire accidents, 16 people died, while 37 people were injured which is 13 people or 45% less as compared with number of people died in fires last year, and 12 people or 24% less as compared with the number of people injured in fires last year.
