Pakistani and Algerian citizens, violating Azerbaijani state border, detained

Operational-troop measures, aimed at provision of reliable protection of state border and fighting against violation cases of state border, are underway, SBS told APA.

On December 22, a person, violating state border from Islam Republic of Iran in the direction of Azerbaijan Republic on the service area of the Goytapa Border group of the Border Troops of the State Border Service in the service area of the border post near the village of Aghali of Bilasuvar region, has been detained and he was determined to be Dadashli Parvin Ziyafat, resident of Zahmatabad village of Bilasuvar. During initial investigation it was revealed that he violated state border on December 20 in Azerbaijan-Iran direction.

On December 26, a person, violating state border from Republic of Azerbaijan in the direction of Russian Federation on the service territory of the Khudat Border group of the Border Troops of the State Border Service in the service area of the border post near the village of Zeykhuroba of Khachmaz region, has been detained and the border violator was defined to be Pakistani citizen Ali Yasif Pakistani (born in 1991).

On December 27, on the service territory of Zagatala border group of Border troops of State Border Service in the service area of the border post near the Mazmichay village of Balaken one person was detained who violated state border from the Republic of Azerbaijan in the direction of Georgia. It has been identified that the border violator is Algerian citizen Muhammad Sharif, born in 1986.

Operational and investigative measures are being continued on the mentioned facts.
