Persons disseminating on social networks false information about upcoming rally in Azerbaijan’s Lankaran detained

At the times when the tense situation rules on the contact line with enemy, a group of persons in Azerbaijan’s Lankaran City creating false accounts on social networks and groups on instant messaging systems, have made appeals not corresponding with reality, the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

The report says thereby, the groundless, false pieces of information not corresponding with reality that could cause confusion among people regarding the upcoming implementation of rally on the territory of Lankaran City were shared by those persons.

Those persons were identified in a short time, were detained and brought to the police office by the officers of relevant District Police Office of Lankaran City. The preventive conversation was conducted with them at the police office and they were made a serious warning.

Note that 3 of the persons disseminating false information on social networks about the alleged upcoming rally in Lankaran City haven’t reached their mature age.
