Persons, who visited territories, liberated from occupation, illegally, have been detained, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.
Although the warning was made several times that the entry of civilians into the liberated areas without a relevant permit, as well as outside the checkpoints, is a serious threat to their lives and health, citizens, who violated these rules, have still been observed.
Information is being received of entry of individuals to the territories, which were liberated from occupation, but not demined completely, through outside the checkpoints by putting their lives under danger.
In order to prevent such dangerous situations on time, preventive measures have been conducted by the employees of law enforcement agencies in Khojavend and Fuzuli districts on February 9. As a result, 6 citizens of Agjabadi district Gafar Mammadov, Firdovsi Aliyev, Emin Mamedov, Safar Aliyev, Elchin Aliyev, and Mahir Mamedov who illegally passed to the liberated territories of the noted regions, have been detained. The investigations are being continued in order to give a legal assessment of the acts of those people. We once again call on our citizens not to go to the illegally liberated territories, endangering their lives and health, and to refrain from such trips” MIA noted.
