Electricity receiver of the back section in the direction of train movement was damaged and defections appeared in contact wire, while Baku-Tbilisi passenger train No 38 was moving in 376th km of Padar-Sigirli point of the railway at 11:22 p.m on July 8, 2019.

Emergent recovery works were launched after electricity receiver and contact wires of the electromotive were restored, the train departed relevant to its appointment at 02:10 a.m on July 9.

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC stated that fire did not happen there as a result of an accident, there was not any damaged person, and there were not many cases, besides technical failures.
