Baku Police: Illegal actions of those attempted to hold illegal picket have been prevented
The illegal actions of those who attempted to hold an illegal picket in Baku have been prevented, the Main Police Department of Baku city told APA.
The members of the Musavat Party have applied to Baku City Executive Power on holding a rally in one of the central territories of the capital.
According to the related requirements of the law on Freedom of Assembly in order to prevent violation of public order and holding it at the center of the city, restricted in the form of displacement, the training base of the "Neftchi" sports club located in Lokbatan settlement of Garadagh district has been offered.
Applicants have officially been informed on the issue and they have been warned by Baku City Main Police Department that any rally to be held in unauthorized places will be prevented and they will be responsible for possible violations of public order.
Despite all of these, about 15 people attempted to hold an illegal rally in front of the Baku City Executive Power on November 12 at about 3:00 p.m.
Movements, contrary to the law, have been prevented with taken measures.
