Head of SBS checked military service activity of divisions in Gazakh

Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, head of the State Border Service (SBS) on July 29-30 has checked the border guard service activities, guarding and protecting the state border with Armenia, military units and units of the Gazakh combined-arms border division, met with the personnel of the border points, inspected the office and residential premises, Press service of the SBS told APA.

According to the report, Mr Guliyev got familiarized with the works done to fulfill the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, as well as to create the necessary infrastructure for border guards and defense at the state border.

At the service meeting held with the participation of senior officers of the SBS, necessary instructions were given to increase the combat readiness of military units and subunits, to ensure the inviolability of the state border and the safety of personnel.
