The press services of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a joint statement in connection with the mass brawl in the Agstafa district, APA reports.
The joint statement reads that on June 17, at about 08H00, residents of region's Sadikhly village Shargiya Musayeva, her sons Shamseddin and Novruz, as well as a resident of Aggol village Zeinab Jalilova were killed. Three more people were seriously injured.
Based on this information, employees of the district prosecutor's office and police with the participation of forensic experts conducted an inspection of the scene of the incident, the bodies were examined, took necessary material evidence, carried out other procedural actions.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the crime was committed with the aim of revenge by Elnur Suleymnanov, a resident of the village of Sadykhly of the Agstafa district.
E. Suleymanov who shot 4 using Kalashnikov gun voluntarily surrendered to the police department of Agstafa district.
Suspected was charged under the articles of the Criminal Code, a court decision elected a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
Considering the severity of the crime and the resonance caused by it, experienced officers of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs were sent to the Agstafa district for a comprehensive and objective investigation of the incident.
Currently, the necessary investigative and operational activities are continuing.
