Three citizens of Saudi Arabia were detained in an anti-hunting raid conducted by employees of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources on the territory of the Mahmudchala hunting farm on January 28, the ministry’s press service told APA.
Three hunting rifles and six cartridges were as material evidence from the Saudi Arabian citizens – Alsedais Abdullah Ibrahim, Aljumah Fahad Abdullah and Almarzooq Abdulaziz Marzoug.
Each foreigner was fined 2,000 manats, said the ministry’s press service.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources will appeal to the State Migration Service for the Saudi Arabian nationals to be deported from the country.
