As a result of the next operation conducted by officers of internal affairs bodies, the persons, who committed robbery against foreign citizens a few days ago in Sabunchu district, have been detained.
The interior ministry told APA that the police detained ex-convicts, Fuzuli district resident Javad Nasirov and Ismayilli district resident Suleyman Safarov who robbed 150 manats, 100 dollars and a mobile phone belonging to Pakistani citizen Gulam Murtaza.
Other operations revealed that the detainees together with another member of the gang Ughur Abishov hijacked Vaz 2106 car belonging to Hasan Sadigzade in Bakikhanov settlement. Then they drove the car to Ismayilli district and sold it at 450 manats.
The police detained Ughur Abishov too.
A criminal case was launched on the fatc and investigation is underway.
