Two unknown men raided the country house, beat the guard and then set fire to the house in Zirva settlement of Baku’s Khazar district on June 27 at about 02:00 am.
Interior Ministry’s press service told APA that they inflicted injuries upon guard Igor Vasin with a blunt object, seized construction tools and set fire to the house.
Igor Vasin was hospitalized.
As a result of the search operations carried out by employees of police department #1 of Khazar district police office, Astara residents Rovshan Mammadov and previously convicted Shahlar Novruzov, suspected of the incident, were detained.
A criminal case was launched into the fact.
