A suspect in the murder of a 58-year-old woman, whose body was found chopped into pieces in a garbage can in Baku, has been detained.
The joint operative and investigative measures taken by the police and prosecuting officers revealed that Lyubov Rahimova, 58, was killed by her acquaintance, previously convicted Irina Gorlova, 50, armed with a blunt object, in her house in Baku’s Binagadi district on Feb. 12. Then the murderer dismembered Rahimova’s body with an ax and threw it into the garbage can, the Interior Ministry told APA.
The necessary investigative measures are underway.
