APA reports quoting the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that on August 11, two people went to one of the tourist companies in Nasimi district and tied the hands and feet of foreigners working there. They threatened them with a knife and told them to pay 1,500 manats. Since the victims did not have the required amount, the two grabbed 3 mobile phones and fled the scene of the crime.

Baku resident Elvin Israfilov and Sumgait resident Jafar Musayev came to the police with confession. They noted that the company charged them 1,500 manats for a tourist trip which would not take place.
