The trial process on Zamira Hajiyeva's extradition at the request of Azerbaijan has continued today in London, APA's London bureau reports.
The decision was announced at a hearing at the Westminister Magistrates Court.
Zamira Hajiyeva has been discharged from the extradition case to Azerbaijan.
Ben Keith, representing Azerbaijani government, said they will likely appeal this case.
Recall that the wife of Jahangir Hajiyev, the head of the International Bank, Zamira Hajiyeva, was given interest-free loans by the bank in 2009-2015, and she did not submit any documents. Z. Hajiyeva is accused of money laundering, embezzling the bank's money.
