Traffic accident in central Ethiopia leaves 18 dead

A traffic accident in Ethiopia's Oromia regional state in the central part of the country has left 18 people dead, APA reports citing Xinhua.

The traffic accident happened on Sunday evening when a transport minibus travelling from Ethiopia's capital city Addis Ababa to Ambo 110 kms northwest of the capital city collided with a dump truck travelling on the opposite side of the road, leaving 18 people dead.

Two other people who suffered critical injuries in the traffic accident are currently receiving medical treatment in nearby medical facilities.
