In January-August of the current year, prices for consumer goods and services in Azerbaijan increased by 2.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2018, including for food products, drinks, and tobacco products - by 3.3%, non-food products - by 1.3%, paid services to the population - 2.7%, the State Statistical Committee told APA.
According to the Committee, compared to July, consumption goods and services went down 0.3% with food products, drinks and tobacco products accounting for a 0.8% decrease, paid services 0,1 % and non-food products remained unchanged.
