Deputy Minister: "Draft agreement on new preferential trade between Azerbaijan and Turkey is being prepared"

A draft agreement concerning a new preferential trade between Azerbaijan and Turkey is being prepared, Azerbaijani Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov told journalists, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, the process is successfully developing, and it will come to its logical conclusion as expected: “An agreement concerning the issue on Nakhichevan has been reached between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and the goods of Nakhichevan will be exported to Turkey within the framework. It should be take into consideration that Nakhichevan is a region under blockade, and there are some specifities in the agreement regarding that. Naturally, this draft agreement is being prepared in respect of the interests of the Azerbaijani side.”
