Sudan's Health Ministry said on Saturday that the death toll in the ongoing conflict between the military and paramilitary forces has reached at least 528, while 4,599 people have been injured, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The records take into account the period between April 15 and 27.
The ministry said fighting is taking place mainly in the states of Khartoum and West Darfur. It added that "significant damage" has been caused to hospitals and other medical facilities, which makes providing emergency care difficult, the Sudan Tribune reported.
