Damage to agriculture in five regions of the country is estimated at $4.64 million, infrastructure – at $133.2 thousand. In addition, the department indicated that the storm damaged 10.3 thousand houses, 240 roads and nine bridges; electricity supply, three – with water supply.

A state of emergency is also in effect in 16 cities and municipalities.

A day earlier, it was reported that the death toll from tropical storm Mega in the Philippines had risen to 137 people.

Mega became the first major storm in the country this year. The maximum wind speed, according to experts on Monday, was 40 m/s with gusts up to 49 m/s.

The storm began on Sunday, April 10, and led to large-scale flooding and landslides.
