Import of tobacco products to Azerbaijan decreased by 30%

The value of tobacco and tobacco products imported to Azerbaijan has been decreased in January-November of this year in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing the report of the State Customs Committee.

According to the calculations, the tobacco and tobacco products in the amount of USD 78 566,13 thousand have been imported to the country in the reporting period, and this is 31 804,34 thousand dollars or 28,8% less than in comparison to the same period of the previous year.

Note that the import of tobacco and tobacco products has been equal to the 0,81% of Azerbaijan’s total import in 11 months of this year.
