Animal disease-free zones to be established in Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions

Joint works are done for the establishment of animal disease-free zones in a part of Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions in order to organize export orientation of live animals and products of animal origin in the field of livestock, said Azerbaijan's Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov while his speech in UNEC Economic Forum in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, currently, establishing entry-quarantine points in the territory of Fuzuli district, identification of all animals, brought to the territory, conduction of placement and maintenance by following veterinary norms and rules.

"Development of agriculture in Karabakh will impact the development of the whole country positively. In general, sowing turnover will increase, as a result of the liberation of territories from occupation, where strategically important water reservoirs are settled, watering of hundreds of hectares of territory will be provided," I. Karimov noted.
