Tomorrow, the delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, will pay a working visit to the United States, ONA reports citing press-service of the Ministry.
During the visit, the Defense Minister will attend the United Nation Peacekeeping Defence Ministerial meeting.
Defense Minister Colonel-General Zasar Hasanov is expected to meet with UN Deputy Secretary-General - Head of the Department for Peaceful Operations of the United Nations Jean Pierre Lacroix and his counterparts from other countries.
Regional security issues, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as future prospects of our country's participation in the UN peacekeeping operations will be discussed at the meeting.
