Azerbaijan increased fruit and vegetable export by up to 3%

In January-November of this year, Azerbaijan has exported 565 407,27 tonnes of fruit and vegetable in the amount of USD 549 762, 79 thousand to foreign countries, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.

During the reporting period, the value of the exported fruit and vegetable has increased by 0,04% and volume by 2,7% in comparison to the January-November of the previous year.

Note that in the first 11 months of this year, fruit- vegetable products exported from Azerbaijan were mainly tomatoes, hazelnuts, apples, dates, potatoes, and pomegranates.

In the reporting period, 129 631,23 tonnes of tomato worth USD 140 581,55 thousand has been exported that this is appropriately 26,2% and 26,3 less in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
