Azerbaijan's non-oil sector increased by 59%

In January this year, Azerbaijan's exports amounted to $ 3.1 billion, while $ 232.2 mln. on the non-oil sector, APA-Economics reports citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

According to the information, exports in the non-oil sector increased by 86.2 million manats or 59% compared to 2021.

In January 2022, fruit and vegetable products increased by $ 15.8 million compared to the same period last year and amounted to 52.8 thousand. dollars. During the same period, exports of chemical products increased by 9.3 times, cotton fiber by 56.4%, aluminum, and aluminum products by 56.5%, cotton yarn by 34.5%, sugar by 24.1%, export of ferrous metals and products made of them increased by 10.2%.
