Father of martyred border serviceman awarded the medal "For Distinction in Military Service"

One of the border guards - martyred junior sergeant Mammadov Sakhavat Fizuli, who was killed on March 10 while attempting to prevent violation of the state border in the territory of the Border Unit near the Bala Bahmanli village of Fizuli region in the area of “Horadiz” Border Regiment of the State Border Service was commemorated in an event, ONA reports citing press service of the State Border Service.

The third-degree medal "For Distinction in Military Service" for the heroic deaths in the protection of the state borders of junior sergeant Mammadov Sakhavat Fuzuli oghlu was presented to the martyr's father by Chief of the State Border Service Colonel General Elchin Guliyev.
