Sarah Michael: “Production of agribusinesses benefiting from World Bank project, increased by 45%”

Within the framework of a project on “strengthening the competitiveness of agriculture” in Azerbaijan implementing by the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan together with the World Bank, up to 20 fruitful partnerships have been built and financial aid was provided to the more than 130 agribusinesses, said World Bank's Country Manager for Azerbaijan Sarah Michael while delivering a speech at the event dedicated to the private veterinary, APA-Economics reports.

According to her, within the framework of the project, about 3 thousand workplaces have been created: “An increase of 45% was recorded in the production of agribusinesses benefiting from the project that this was one of the aims that were set at the beginning of the project”.
