In April 2016, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) produced 613,100 tonnes of oil, down 1.82% from 2016, 1.87% from March 2017, read a statement from SOCAR.
SOCAR produced 2,459,200 tonnes of oil in January-April, down 2.52% in comparison to a year earlier.
SOCAR produced 645,100 tonnes of oil in January, 576,200 tonnes in February adn 624,800 tonnes in March.
Oil production across the country made 3,186,100 tonnes, down 8.17% by contrast to 2016, up 2.35% from March.
In January-February, totally 12,642,300 tonnes of oil were produced across the country, down 9.55% compared to previous year.
