American Airlines announced on Friday it will stop limiting the number of sold seats on its flights from July 1. However, the company stressed it will ask customers to certify they haven't had any COVID-19 symptoms 14 days prior to traveling, APA reports citing Tele Trader.

The airline also said it will extend waivers of change fees for flights until September 30 due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Earlier, United Airlines also stated it will sell tickets for all seats on its planes starting July 1, while Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines will keep limiting the number of sold tickets in an effort to ensure social distancing on its flights amid the coronavirus pandemic.
