United States President Donald Trump needs to represent a part of the solution for racial divisions in the country, not a part of the problem, Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden asserted on Tuesday. The former vice president urged the US to "turn anger and anguish into purpose," adding that American people "can't turn away and do nothing" after the killing of George Floyd, APA reports citing Teletrader.

In his speech in Philadelphia, Biden accused Trump of "turning the United States into the battlefield." He condemned the president for his controversial tweet that said "when the looting starts, the shooting starts," a phrase originally used by Miami police Chief Walter Headley in 1967. "Those are not words of the president, those are words of the racist police chief from 60's" Biden stated.
