Powerful 6.0-magnitude quake hits northeast of Honduras

A strong earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck off the Honduran coast at 08:04:37 UTC, the United States Geological Survey said, APA reports citing Sputnik.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the tremor occurred 55 kilometres north-northeast of Savannah Bight, Honduras, with its epicentre located in the Carribean Sea.
